ISRO URSC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Online Form for 410 Posts
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) – U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru has released the official recruitment notification (Advt. No. URSC:03:2026) for the engagement of Graduate Apprentice, Technician Apprentice (Diploma), and Commercial Practice Apprentice positions for a period of one year.
Candidates who have completed their B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma degree in relevant disciplines between 2022 and 2026 are eligible to apply online. The online registration process began on 29 July 2026 and will remain active until 28 August 2026 (11:59 PM).

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
To register for the ISRO URSC Apprentice positions, candidates must meet the following conditions:
- Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Passing Year Requirement: Only candidates who completed their degree or diploma in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible. Candidates who completed their course before 2022 are not eligible.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate Apprentice: Must possess a B.E. or B.Tech degree in the concerned branch from a recognized Indian University or Institute.
- Technician Apprentice: Must hold a 3-year Diploma in the relevant engineering branch issued by a State Board of Technical Education.
- Commercial Practice Apprentice: Must hold a Diploma in Commercial Practice from a recognized Board or Institution.
- Prior Experience Exclusions:
- Candidates who have undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act in any other establishment are ineligible.
- Candidates with job experience of 1 year or more are not eligible.
Selection Process
The selection process for the ISRO URSC Apprentice 2026 engagement involves no written exam:
- Academic Percentage Merit List: Applicants will be shortlisted based strictly on the aggregate percentage/CGPA scored in their qualifying B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma degree.
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates will receive notification via email to appear at URSC Bengaluru for certificate verification.
- Final Panel Preparation: The final merit list and reserve panel will be released following physical document verification.
Step-by-Step Guide to Apply Online
Applicants must complete a two-step application sequence:
Step 1: NATS Portal Registration
- Visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme official portal: nats.education.gov.in.
- Complete your student enrollment by providing personal, contact, and academic details.
- Complete your profile to 100% and generate your unique NATS Enrolment Number.
Step 2: UMANG Portal Application
- Access the UMANG portal via web browser (web.umang.gov.in) or download the UMANG App.
- Search for "URSC Apprenticeship" in the main portal search bar.
- Click on Apply for Position under Advertisement No. URSC:03:2026.
- Fill in your personal information and enter your NATS Enrolment Number.
- Enter your marks (Percentage or CGPA) exactly as reflected in your final degree/diploma certificate.
- Upload clear copies of required documents:
- Passport Photo: JPG/JPEG format, up to 50 KB
- Signature: JPG/JPEG format, up to 50 KB
- Educational Marksheets & Degree/Diploma Certificate: Single combined file, up to 1 MB
